Rules and Regulations

"Renaissance Woman" one who exudes style, grace and presence while being active, engaged and knowledgeable.

Obligations of Contestant

It is our desire to create an environment that fosters friendly competition and fellowship. We look forward to producing a high quality pageant experience for all who have made the decision to be a part of the American Renaissance Pageant Family.

The contestant agrees to conduct herself at all times in such a manner as is consistent with the highest moral And ethical standards. She further agrees to refrain from any act this, at the sole discretion of the ARNP, is deemed detrimental to the interests of the ARNP; it’s Officers, Directors, and Representatives or sponsors. The contestant hereby releases any claim which she may have by virtue of her participation in the American Renaissance National Pageant competition, or any use of her photograph, likeness, voice, or appearance in the connection with the exercise of any such rights, including advertising and promotional material relating to any such exploitation.

American Renaissance titleholders must be legal residents of the United States and have had a legal address in the State they represent for at least six (6) months (residence at a military activity is acceptable.)

The contestant will NOT defame the Pageant of my own accord, whether it is oral, written or otherwise stated. Defamation of the American Renaissance Pageant Will result in automatic relinquishment of my title and prizes.

The contestant agrees to permit the ARNP and ARNP may authorize sponsors, distributors, networks, stations, licensees, to use her name, picture, likeness, voice, signature, Title, art illustration, biographical material, and/or the like of any advertising or publicity relation to the program and/or the Pageant in perpetuity, without any compensation.

The contestant hereby represents that the contestant will continue to be a person of good moral character; that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions, or that she will reflect unfavorably on the Pageant, its representatives, sponsors, and/or licensees; that she has not appeared in nude or provocative photographs for any film, or publication, prior to, during her reign as the National Title holder of the American Renaissance Pageants.

Contestants will display good sportsmanship and honor the judges’ decisions as final. Any discrepancy involving your conduct or respect of your title, another contestant, staff member of the Drinking alcohol and/or smoking is not allowed in your sash! You are a role model for many young people. Drinking or smoking is NOT allowed in the dressing rooms or during the pageant or rehearsals. You will be asked to leave the pageant. All contestants are expected to conduct themselves in a ladylike manner while attending the National Pageant. We will not tolerate anyone making negative remarks about another contestant, the staff, the American Renaissance Pageant, the judges or the host hotel-- they will be asked to leave.

The American Renaissance Pageant is not responsible for any items that are lost or stolen. Please mark all of your belongings. No one besides contestants and ARNP staff will be allowed in the dressing rooms or backstage at any time. This means no hair/make-up artists, family members, or guests. This rule will be strictly enforced.

Contestants must attend ALL Scheduled events during pageant weekend. The American Renaissance Pageant has taken great steps in pre-planning this event. We are dedicated to providing you with a high-quality pageant and production. The scheduled events and rehearsals require advance planning. Attendance information will be made available to the American Renaissance Pageant judges. Contestants are required to arrive on time and participate in all scheduled activities.

All contestants agree to abide by all rules set forth by the American Renaissance Pageant in this and all related documents. If, for any reason, a contestant refuses to and/or fails to fulfill the duties and obligations associated with her title, she will surrender any title or prizes at the sole discretion of the American Renaissance Pageant.

Refunds:

Should a delegate decide to withdraw from the pageant at any time, under NO circumstances shall she be entitled to a refund, either in full or in part that she and/or any sponsor or advertiser has paid. Each contestant is an independent contractor. As such, she agrees that nothing in this document or any others related to the American Renaissance Pageant shall create any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employer/employee relationship.

Judges:

The decisions of the Judges panel are final. Contestants are not to engage in a conversation with any of the Judges at any time before or during the pageant. If a contestant encounters a Judge before or during the pageant weekend, she may exchange a brief hello. If a contestant is engaged in conversation with any of the Judges prior to or during the pageant, the delegate will be disqualified immediately based on the sole discretion of the American Renaissance National Pageant.

All eligibility issues are at the sole discretion of the American Renaissance Pageant. The American Renaissance Pageant reserves the right to refuse entry into the American Renaissance Pageant to anyone for any reason.

The 2009 ARNP will be held June 18th - 20th, 2009 at the Doubletree Castle Hotel in Orlando, FL.
